Marlboro Anyone?

I love smoke and cigarettes. Here I am inhaling the smoke because putting the cigarette in my mouth would be too much. I do like cigarettes or cigarettes buts as well, to eat that is.

Goat's toupee

If your goat loses hair, you can use corn hair. It works really well and you can't see the difference.

Hot Breakfast for a cold day

Mommy made some oatmeal and only Titan was thrilled about it. He ate most of it. Buster and I were not interested. Towards the end, I decided to try it and liked it. Now, I wanted Titan out of the bucket.

Breakfast, House, Diner

We have a new house but we have ate most of it. It taste so yummy. Wood is a second favorite of us.

A snowball fight or not

How come I am cover with snow? I was under a branch and all of a sudden I was covered with snow.

Keeping our feet dry

With so much snow, our feet are deep down in the snow. After mom cleared the snow from the reels, I tested it to see how dry it was. What happened to the snow?

Five inches of snow

Our stands are full of snow and we have nothing to sit on. The snow is covering everything including the roof of our new house.

Eating little girls hair

We grab anything and if your head is in our way we will try to grab and eat your hair. The little girl's head was near us with beautiful curls. She started crying after seeing the chuck of hair I grabbed out of her head.

Where is the grass?

The snow is covering everything. We are unable to see the grass. Mom brought us some pine branche. We have something yummy to eat.

More mushrooms

We went to the river and found more mushrooms. This one is so big.

Goat chow

We got a new snack to chew on. Yummy!

More friends

It is the winter, and our friends the rabbits are missing from our field. This is the picture taken this spring.

More strange mushrooms

This morning, this mushroom appeared. This is Halloween season and this mushroom looks like a ghost mushroom.

Gift from the neighbors

We have a lot of grass around our house and we can't eat it all. The other day, our friends the goats and the horses came over to eat some of the grass. We like to share. They also left a gift at the front door.

Goodbye old house

Buster is upset. Tonight he wanted to go sleep but the old house was missing the roof. He did not understand why the roof was gone. He has been living here for over two years now, and loves his little house. Now, he has a new one.

The house is almost complete

We like new structures and this one has been keeping us busy. We have been hanging up around it and in it, even taking naps during the day, inside it.

The 3 little pigs story

Do you remember the 3 little pigs story and the three choices of house. We need a house made of concrete and brick so we won't eat it like the old one. Here me and my brothers are chewing the 2X4. Hmmm, so good.

Poisonous or not?

There is so many mushrooms around here. Those have been nibble by the animals. When my mom picked them up and put them in the bucket, I wanted to put my head in it. But she needs to identify it to see if they are good to eat. If you have any ideas, please post it here.

Testing the window and the square footage

We are the engineers team and we want to make sure that this house is big enough. We have been testing it all week as the construction progresses.

What happened to our house?

Summer house no more. We chewed some of the wood of our house during the summer. When it rains, it gets wet inside. Looks like the maintenance man is working on a new project. Wonder what it is going to be?

A new exercise instrument

This manger is very useful as an exercise instrument. Earlier, I put the two front legs on it. Now I have all my legs on top of it and I am trying to maintain balance. This exercise is a good tummy and legs exercise. Now it is also good to reach out for the pines branches.

Peas and more peas

Those are the shells of the peas. We like them. They are crunchy.

Climbing on rocks

We have a rock formation in our field. It is a small hill full of rocks but we never climb on top of it, unlike our cousins "the mountain goats". Click here Crazy Mountain Goats

Small versus big

I am going to miss those food fights. Check below the blog for more explanation.

No more fighting for food

For the last past two years, me and my brothers fight over who is going to put their head in the bucket. Actually they all fit in there together. Now, we got a bigger bucket where fighting is not necessary. Are we getting more food now because of the size of the bucket? Not sure about that.

Bowl of "je ne sais quoi"

What's for dinner? Kind of medley of food. We like all food and are up to try anything. We do not mind if the food is mixed. At night we get grains but often mommy puts some other interesting stuff in it. The fun part is the surprise.

Goats have four chambers in their stomach

We eat all day but when we rest, we chew on the stuff that is in the rumen part of the stomach. See below on the picture our checks are blown up. The rumen can contains 3 to 6 gallons of food. Titan has a small one, versus me and Buster tend to get bigger stomach at the end of the day. If you want to learn more about our stomach, check that link below.

Body massage

What does a goat do when he needs a good scratching? He find a pile of gravel or a building with rough surface and rubs against it.

Hot peppers, why not!

We can eat anything, except plants and flowers that are poisonous like the rhododendron. Here is a picture of a red fruit that is really, really spicy on our tongues. I tried to put my tongue in the water afterwards but it was worse. Give me milk, please!

Tall grass is comfortable

At the end of a long day, I too want to rest in the grass amongst the daisies. Here I am sticking my head out for the photographer's shot.

Buster is taking a rest from eating

Buster tend to eat a lot and at the end of a long day of eating, he gets so full that he has to lay down and rest his belly.

Homemade hay

This dry herb is from the yard. We are not like sheep. We do not eat the grass that fast, so Ron cut the grass and my mom put it in the manger to dry. Now we are having a feast. There is at least a bale hiding somewhere, out of our reach.

In the daisies

The daisies are so tall. Me and Buster are eating the grass around them.

Always together

Buster and Titan just spent the night on the big reel. The one big enough for one big goat (ME!) or two little ones. At night, they always sleep together. During the day, they sometime nap together.

Full bucket of watermelon

Look at that nice watermelon. Perfect for a hot summer day (where is summer?). Juicy and refreshing. The pieces have to be cut so we can eat them easily. Titan walked away because the pieces were to big. He is food challenged (see pic of him eating the peach).

Messy eaters of watermelon

Laetitia our friend, gave us a watermelon. It is the perfect food for a hot summer day. Sweet and refreshing. See the video below (click on the link: messy eaters) and enjoy!!

Back to being a baby

This powder reminds me of me when I drank at the bottle as a baby goat. I found it and could not stop from licking it. It is all over my face but I love it.

Purple little flowers

These are amongst the daisy and are very small but very beautiful as well.

More beautiful flowers

This one is very unusual and for sure a wild flower. It is a type of bell flower and poisonous.

Finally, Summer!

Summer was 4 days ago but today the temperature is a summer's temperature (over 75 degrees). It was so hot that I was not as active as usual. Here, are me and my brothers in the grass.

Beautiful daisies

After eating all the bad weeds, we have a field full of flowers. We eat some flowers not all of them.

Hiking through the woods to the river

This was such a beautiful day. All that hiking was fun but exhausting. We followed the loud, scary machines all the way to the river. When we got back to our house, we were so tired, we went to lay down for a well deserved rest.

Trip to the river

We do not like to get our feet wet. Or maybe, we have instinct and we know that it is no use to go in the water when you do not know how to swim. I only went into the water but mind you, I walked on the dry rocks, because my mom was there and I trust her to know if it safe for us. Buster eventually followed me but Titan would not risk it.

Strawberries and Bananas

What a lovely fruit salad! We have been eating bananas (skin and fruit) in the last past few weeks. Potassium is good for us.

Getting our vitamins D

For goats, the sun is very important. We need to reload on the vitamins D. We have had enough rain, today we are sunbathing. One of the important thing for anyone getting goats, is to make sure that the house or shelter for the goat or goats is facing south. The front door of our house is directly facing south.

Lousy weather

When it rains, we rather stay in our house. It has been raining for the last week or two and everyday we are confine to our little house.

Too much of a good thing

We got a load of pine branches, and as you can see, we are full and need a rest.

Hard to reach places

We can go through a lot of exercise in one day. We have to do a lot of gymnastic to clean up in hard to reach places.

Goats are curious animals

We love to see what is going on in other people's life. Here, Titan is looking at the kitchen window. Goats are nosy.

What are the branches doing in the truck?

No matter where the food is, we can find it. Specially the nice fresh smelly pine. Eventually, the pine ended up on our field. That is what we ate the next day but really, I wanted it all that day.

I want a new look

Mom, can I get a tattoo and a earring. Instead of a collar with a loop can I have the loop in my nose?

Not a dog

This is our neighbor's goat. He looks like a dog from far away. It is a pigmy goat. During the day, he comes and join us for a snack.
